★ The real butterfly wings in this fascinating pendant necklace resemble green and blue tiger stripes! I have handmade this necklace from two REAL Urania Leilus Moth Butterfly wings under a large magnified glass cabochon. The large glass cabochon measures 1.2" x 1.6". The butterfly wings are set in an antique silver setting.

This Green-banded Urania Moth (Urania leilus) is often confused for a butterfly due to its rich vibrant colors and day-flying behavior. It originates from Ecuador. The wings are blue, green, & black on both sides and form into several different patterns ranging from tiger stripes to a checkered appearance.

The Chain measures approximately 18 inchesand is meant to rest on the upper chest (as pictured). If you would prefer your pendant on a long 30 inchchain that hangs down low, just message me and I can switch it out. (Or if you would prefer to measure yourself and let me know exactly how long you would like your chain, I will be happy to make a custom length chain just for you.)
