MEET JACLYN

Jaclyn has been making jewelry for as long as she can remember, raised in a home where creativity took up a lot of space - literally. Her mother kept a craft room in their home larger than their living room, and it became the heart of her childhood, a place where making things by hand felt as natural as breathing. Her father (in true girl-dad fashion) was happy to sit on the floor with her for hours making jewelry. It became a family joke that every summer Jaclyn would haul two suitcases on the plane to her grandmother’s house in New York: one for clothes, and one entirely for beads. Her parents also shared a love of geology, so she grew up wandering gem & mineral shows, falling in love with the hidden magic inside the earth. She later earned degrees in both English and Psychology and then taught herself geology and entomology, blending all those passions into the work she creates today. Over the past twenty years, her crystal jewelry and insect art has appeared in museums, hotels, libraries, and even on TV shows such as Law & Order, BonesPretty Little LiarsFuller House, Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and This Is Us. She is now newly married, a mom to a wildly curious little girl, and excited to pass on the same creative wonder that shaped her own childhood.

MEET LENA

Lena is the spark that keeps our studio glowing—the kind of person who can wire-wrap a gemstone with perfect precision while making everyone in the room laugh. She brings her magic to every corner of Chrysalis Studios, from crafting jewelry to lovingly packaging orders to answering customer messages with her signature warmth. Raised by a fierce single mother who taught her resilience, independence, and unstoppable work ethic, Lena radiates kindness in everything she does. She’s newly married to a wonderful 4th-grade teacher, a devoted dog mom to her chihuahua mix, Salim, and a devoted fan of Star Wars, Harry Potter, and any excuse to wander somewhere new. A true crystal lover at heart—moonstone is her forever favorite—Lena infuses every piece she touches with intention, care, and a sparkle all her own. Customers adore her, we adore her, and the studio simply wouldn’t be the same without her.
