★ This gorgeous pendant necklace is handcrafted using two REAL Erasmus Pulchera moth wings! (See below for more on how I obtain the wings!). The moth wing is expertly embedded under a large 1.2" x 1.6" magnified glass cabochon and set in your choice of a black (as pictured), antique silver, or antique gold filigree setting.

The Erasmia Pulchera Moth is a brightly colored day-flying moth from Thailand. It's wings are black with iridescent green, blue, orange, & white spots. Each piece will arrive in its own cute gift pouch with literature on the species of butterfly!

*NOTE* No Butterflies are harmed in the making of my jewelry! All butterflies are raised on butterfly farms and sanctuaries and allowed to live their full lifespan, which averages about 1 month, and then collected and sold so that their beauty can live on! Butterfly Farming actually helps to preserve rain forests and also assures the survival of natural butterfly habitats. Native people are encouraged to grow plants and raise insects opposed to clearing land for cash crops.
