CHOOSE YOUR STONES!:

1. MOONSTONE: Moonstone is a naturally occurring semi precious gemstone which looks clear to white from some angles, and then from other angles, has an iridescent blue sheen running thru it, also known as a "flash"! This iridescent sheen is caused by the diffraction of light within its many feldspar layers. Moonstone has been used in jewelry dating back to ancient civilizations. The Romans believed moonstone was actually crystalized rays of the moon! Many cultures have believed that moonstone harnesses the energy of the moon and passes that energy onto its wearer, bringing harmony, balance, and calm.

2. BLACK SPOTTED MOONSTONE: Moonstone is a naturally occurring semi precious gemstone which looks clear to white from some angles, and then from other angles, has an iridescent blue sheen running thru it, also known as a "flash"! This particular moonstone is spotted with black tourmaline inclusions which give the stones tons of contrast & character!

3. LABRADORITE: Labradorite is a natural feldspar crystal mainly found in Canada & Norway. The stone appears dark from some angles, but when turned to other angles, it has an amazing iridescent blue / green flash running thru it. This iridescence is caused by the diffraction of light passing thru tiny micro fractures and cracks in the crystal's many layers. Fracture lines in the stones are natural and what give it its fabulous iridescence! Due to the nature of the crystal, no two crystals are the same and each has its own unique flash pattern. Turn your crystal back and forth in the sunlight to see the amazing flash at its best & brightest!

4. FLUORITE crystals come in a wide range of colors and have consequently been dubbed "the most colorful mineral in the world", although they are most commonly seen in purple & green. The word fluorite is derived from the Latin verb fluere, meaning "to flow". For centuries, Fluorite has been thought by many to help promote creativity. It is said that wearing the stone can help to declutter thoughts and break up negative patterns, clearing away the fog so to speak, so that your creativity is free to "flow".

5. ROSE QUARTZ: Rose Quartz is a naturally occurring pink variety of quartz crystal. It is a light baby pink and is slightly translucent. It is known as the 'love stone' and is said to emit energies associated with love, warmth, and emotional healing. For centuries people have believed that it aids in healing personal & intimate relationships and that it fosters romance & sensuality.

6. AMAZONITE: These aqua blue-green Amazonite stones are found in the llmensky mountains of Russia, but Amazonite can be found on several continents. It garners its name from the Bluegreen waters on the Amazon River. Dating back to ancient times, Amazonite was a distinguishing feature of the lavish emperor tombs of Egypt. It was used along with Lapis Lazuli in the famous gold mask of Pharaoh Tutankhame. Often regarded as a good luck charm, it was also a distinctive element in ancient Indian jewelry design. Amazonite is traditionally associated with luck, money, and overall success. It's known as the "gambler's stone," encouraging good luck and fortune.

7. AMETHYST: Amethyst is a violet purple variety of quartz. The name comes from the ancient Greek work for "intoxicated", a reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkenness. The ancient Greeks wore amethyst and decorated goblets with it in the belief that it would prevent intoxication. For many centuries, amethyst has been used as a healing & protection stone, thought to guard against negative thoughts, transferring the energy into love and protecting the wearer from harm and stress. Amethyst is a semiprecious stone and is the traditional birthstone for February.

8. CITRINE: Citrine is a rare variety of quartz which ranges from a pale yellow to golden. Quartz is considered a power stone. It has been called the "Universal Crystal" because of its many uses. It is said to absorb, amplify, transmit, and balance energy. Citrine is the birthstone for November.

9. SMOKY QUARTZ: Smoky Quartz is is a dark brown variety of quartz crystal. found in many placed around the world, including Australia, Brazil, Madagascar, Scotland, and the US .Smoky Quartz is the national gem of Scotland. In Celtic cultures, Smoky Quartz was sacred to the Druids. This stone represented the dark power of the Earth gods and goddesses. It was also associated with the ancient Greek goddess, Hecate, the goddess of magic. Smoky Quartz is often regarded as a grounding crystal which is thought to help with moving on from difficult and/or painful experiences. During the Victorian era, smoky quartz was often used in mourning jewelry, to help the wearer move on after loss.

10. BLACK ONYX: Black onyx is a variety of the mineral, chalcedony. Onyx was used in Egypt as early as the Second Dynasty to make bowls and other pottery items. The ancient Romans entered battle carrying onyx amulets engraved with Mars, the god of war. This was believed to bestow courage in battle. For some Native American tribes, onyx was used as protection against unwanted thoughts and evil spirits. These tribes kept onyx close during tumultuous times, as its presence was thought to be stabilizing during times of extreme stress.
