I have created this stunning insect mandala collage using 60 REAL preserved exotic insects! The insects include Blue Morpho Alexandrovna butterflies, Doxocopa Cherubina butterflies, Chrysochroa Buqueti Rigocollis beetles, Green Lamprima Stag beetles, green flower scarab beetles, blue weevil beetles, and assorted small jewel beetles. I have arranged the insects in a circular kaleidoscope formation. The insects are secured under glass in a large shadowbox frame measuring almost 2 feet x 2 feet (21" x 21"). The artwork is mounted on a textured cream background with your choice of a black or white frame. You may also choose between regular glass or an upgrade to museum grade UV protectant glass.

*The 6 striped weevil beetles towards the center may vary in color from blue to green depending on the season :)

My insects are raised on insect farms and sanctuaries and are not taken from the wild. Insects Farming actually helps to preserve rain forests and also assures the survival of natural butterfly habitats.
