★ This amazing real dragonfly necklace is handcrafted from a set of REAL Indonesian Green Damselfly wings (Scientific name: Neurobasis Chinensis)! (read below for more on how I ethically obtain the wings!). The butterfly wing is set in your choice of an antique gold (as pictured), silver, or gunmetal vintage style setting with iridescent green Swarovski crystals. Your choice of chain length (18" short or 30" long) with upgrades to Sterling silver available with the silver pendant option. The pendant measures approximately 1.75" x 2.5"

Each piece will arrive in a custom gift bag with literature on the species of butterfly and a free die-cut sticker or magnet!

All butterflies are raised on butterfly farms and sanctuaries and allowed to live their full lifespan, which averages about 1 month, and then collected and sold so that their beauty can live on! Butterfly Farming actually helps to preserve rain forests and also assures the survival of natural butterfly habitats. Native people are encouraged to grow plants and raise insects opposed to clearing land for cash crops.
