★ *The "BUTTERFLY CHAPEL" Collage*

I handcrafted this collage using over 465 real butterfly wings! It measures approximately 2.5 x 3.5 ft (28.5” x 40.5”). I make each collage from scratch when it is ordered. Your choice of regular glass or an upgrade to anti-glare museum glass, or "Masterpiece" acrylic which is the most expensive option as it is the highest quality acrylic on the market - unbreakable, crystal clear, anti-glare, and anti-static. Will be framed with a local custom framer in a high quality and sturdy frame and professionally sealed. Frame in your choice of black, brown, or white! The background is a textured beige with a white mat border. We can also do custom coloring on the mat board and background if you would prefer (i.e a black mat and background instead of white / off-white for instance).

I will create a beautiful one of a kind mosaic collage with your choice of color scheme / species selection based on my inventory of over 50 different butterfly & moth species! *NOTE* No Butterflies are harmed in the making of my jewelry! All butterflies are raised on butterfly farms and sanctuaries and allowed to live their full lifespan, which averages about 1 month, and then collected and sold so that their beauty can live on! Butterfly Farming actually helps to preserve rain forests and also assures the survival of natural butterfly habitats. Native people are encouraged to grow plants and raise insects opposed to clearing land for cash crops. I am a member of and donate to the Rainforest Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the Rainforest and the many species that live within it, including the Blue Morpho Butterfly!

Depending on the season it is possible that one or two of the smaller species could be replaced by a similar species but the overall look of the piece will not be affected :)
