I have created this spread butterfly collage using 25 REAL preserved and mounted butterflies! The butterflies include 8 real Monarch butterflies, 8 Doxocopa Cherubina butterflies. 8 Morppho Zephrytis butterflies, and 1 large Morpho Alexandrovna in the center. I have arranged the butterflies in a circular kaleidoscope / mandala formation. The insects are secured under glass in a large shadowbox frame measuring almost 2 feet x 2 feet (21" x 21"). The artwork is mounted on a textured beige background with a white mat border and your choice of a white or black frame. You may also choose regular glass or an upgrade to special museum grade UV protective glass.

My insects are raised on insect farms and sanctuaries and are not taken from the wild. Insect Farming actually helps to preserve rain forests and also assures the survival of natural butterfly habitats. Native people are encouraged to grow plants and raise insects opposed to clearing land for cash crops. I am a proud member of the Rainforest Alliance!
