★ These unique crescent moon earrings are made with REAL blue-green jewel beetle wings (Read below for more on how I ethically obtain the wings!) The Green Jewel Beetle (Scientific name: Chrysochroa Fulminans) originates from Indonesia. Jewel beetles have natural shiny metallic wing shells and this particular sub-species is a vibrant blue-green! (These wings are a special rare variety of green jewel beetle that are more blue-green than regular green jewel beetle wings!) The hard beetle wing shells are attached to a pair of cool crescent moon connectors, in your choice of antique silver tone, shiny silver tone, shiny gold tone, or bronze (metal finish options shown in 8th photo). An upgrade to real .925 Sterling Silver earring hooks or real 14K gold filled earring hooks are also available. Each earring measures approximately 70mm long.

Earrings will come in a custom gift pouch with literature on the species of insect! :)

Insect Farming actually helps to preserve rain forests and also assures the survival of natural butterfly habitats.
