★ Handmade statement earrings using REAL jewel beetle wings! (Read below for more on how I ethically obtain the wings). The Green Jewel Beetle (Scientific name: Chrysochroa Fulminans) originates from Indonesia. Jewel beetles have natural shiny and brightly colored metallic wing shells. For this pair of earrings, I have used 3 different shades of jewel beetle wings, Emerald green, Blue green, and Yellow green, to create a rainbow effect. Wings are hung on your choice of bronze or silver teardrop hoops. You also have your choice of earring hooks: bronze, silver plated, or Real .925 Sterling Silver. Each hoop earring measures approximately 3" long.

Jewelry will come in a custom gift pouch with literature on the species of insect and a free die-cut sticker or magnet! :)

*NOTE: These beetle wings are sourced ethically & eco-friendly. The beetles are raised on insect farms. Insect Farming actually helps to preserve rain forests and also assures the survival of natural butterfly habitats. Native people are encouraged to grow plants and raise insects opposed to clearing land for cash crops.
