β Pearls: We only use AA+ to AAA grade pearls! AA+ grade freshwater pearls represent the top 5% of pearls harvested whereas AAA grade represent the top 1%. They have a round to slightly off-round shape, high quality luster, and minimal blemishes. Freshwater pearls are produced naturally from mollusks called mussels. A single freshwater pearl mussel is capable of producing up to 50 pearls!
