★ Statement necklace and earrings set handcrafted using REAL jewel beetle wings! (Read below for more on how I ethically obtain the wings). The Green Jewel Beetle (Scientific name: Chrysochroa Fulminans) originates from Indonesia. Jewel beetles have natural shiny and brightly colored metallic wing shells. For this set, I have used 3 different shades of jewel beetle wings, Emerald green, Blue green, and Yellow green, to create a rainbow effect. You may choose to purchase only the necklace or earrings alone, or both as a set. You may also choose the metal finish, antique silver or antique gold / bronze (metal options shown in 9th photo). The Sterling Silver upgrade will upgrade the silver necklace with a real .925 sterling silver chain and/or will upgrade the silver earrings to real .925 sterling silver earring hooks! **Sterling upgrade only applies to chain and earring hooks** Each hoop earring measures approximately 3" long. Pendant is approximately 4 inches wide and comes on an 18" chain (If you need a different chain length, just send me a message!)

Jewelry will come in a custom gift pouch with literature on the species of insect and a free die-cut sticker or magnet! :)

Insect Farming actually helps to preserve rain forests and also assures the survival of natural butterfly habitats. Native people are encouraged to grow plants and raise insects opposed to clearing land for cash crops.
